Team Administrator - Asset Management

Estates Services, part of University Administration Services, is responsible for managing the University of Oxford’s Estate within Oxfordshire: 235 buildings are used for teaching, learning, research and administration, with another 140 being commercial property holdings.

A proactive and well organised individual is required to provide secretarial and administrative support to Asset Management, the commercial property arm within Estates Services, and to other departmental functions as directed. The postholder will report to the Head of Asset Management and the Administration Manager, acting as first point of contact for general enquiries to Asset Management.

Duties will include taking responsibility for dealing with tenancy deposit scheme administration, raising purchase orders and recording property information on the University’s property database. You will receive training in the University’s Oracle Financial system and the QUBE property database used to manage the University’s commercial property.

You will demonstrate an organised approach to your work, with strong attention to detail and possess strong IT and communication skills. You will need to be able to show that you are able to work within a team and interact with other teams, as well as liaise with external repairs and maintenance contractors, professional advisers and tenants.

The role will require you to possess proven customer service skills, and to be first point of contact for the gathering of information and collation of data in relation to Customer Service Accreditation.

The role will be based at The Malthouse, Tidmarsh Lane, Oxford.
