Salary: £36,800 - £44,220 per annum (depending on experience)

Duration: 6 Months

A six-month post-doctoral research position in worm tracking is now available at the Institute of Clinical Sciences at Imperial College London. The post holder will be required to develop software for worm tracking and analysis. This will involve the post holder working in Python to improve our multi-worm tracking software, graphical user interface, and feature extraction code.

The successful candidate will hold a PhD in physics or a related area, have experience in video segmentation, worm tracking, and the quantitative analysis of worm behaviour, and a strong track record of first-author publications. Experience writing software in Python, version control using git, and image analysis using OpenCV are also required, as is experience working in collaborative teams with experimental biologists.
