Are you looking for a new opportunity in education and wish to be a part of the development of exciting new programmes within Health and Wellbeing?  Wrexham Glyndwr University are looking for a dynamic and forward thinking individual who has knowledge of and passion for non-medical interventions for health and wellbeing.  The ideal candidate will have a background in social prescribing or health improvement and a demonstrable track record in the delivery of research methods in an academic setting.  You will have exceptional organisational and leadership skills and a clear commitment to enhancing the student experience from a pedagogical and pastoral perspective.

An enthusiastic and dynamic specialist is sought to join an innovative and experienced team of academics. The individual will be responsible for the development of an innovative hybrid degree programme in the area of Health & Wellbeing, social prescribing, mental health and behavioural change. This post may be of interest to applicants who have a background and passion in the areas of health and wellbeing, allied health, mental health and social prescribing. 

Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to design and implement innovative approaches to enhancing student learning experience and have knowledge of blended learning. The post-holder will also engage with research, scholarly and enterprise activities in accordance with the Universities strategic framework and participate in wider academic-related activities. 

Appointment will be made at Lecturer Grade or Senior Lecturer Grade as appropriate. An established record of research and publication (or equivalent demonstration of externality working in key organisation) is essential for appointment at Senior Lecturer grade.
