We are seeking to recruit a Research Technician required to support the Fungal Pathogens Group in delivering a Wellcome Seed Award to Darius Armstrong-James. In your role you will provide a high standard of technical expertise and advice.  You will have supervisory responsibility for day-to-day co-ordination, running and maintenance of the laboratory. You will be required to contribute to the preparation of grant reports and scientific publications.

You will have a degree in immunology/molecular cell biology, or related field, or equivalent vocational qualification and/or equivalent experience in laboratory management. Detailed knowledge of laboratory procedures and experience of in vivo imaging of innate immune responses in the lung are essential. Experience in fungal genetics is desirable.

The post is full-time and fixed-term until 9 April 2018. The post is based at the Royal Brompton Campus.
