About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to be the Muslim Chaplain for our student and staff community. You’ll be confident to engage in theological debate as well as providing pastoral support. You’ll be able to support and encourage equal participation from all Muslim denominations in our diverse University community.

With a Degree in any subject and highly versed in the Islamic faith and Islamic theology, you’ll have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work with all denominations of Islam and other faiths. You’ll have experience of providing pastoral support and of working in a Chaplaincy team in a Higher Education or similar environment.

This appointment is subject to an enhanced level disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
