The School is seeking an inspiring health lecturer to join our team of committed academic staff. Primarily the post will be to take a lead on our advanced / enhanced practice programmes. We are looking for an individual who is an advanced practitioner and can implement the curriculum enabling students to develop advanced and complex decision making skills ideally in primary, secondary and tertiary, care settings. 

You will be expected to create and facilitate innovative simulation with both high and low fidelity equipment, as well as deliver core content via lectures and workshops. This requires someone who can co-ordinate multiple simulation sessions at once as well as applying research to inform clinical decision making. 

You will need to be highly organised and provide over site for the activities of others.  The Faculty is well known for successfully using innovative teaching and learning strategies to provide high quality education across a range of academic levels, and programmes including those in other faculties. It also has an excellent reputation for student outcomes and placement learning experiences. 

You will provide support to all levels of students with their academic work as well as supporting the clinical mentors /educators. You will be confident in the application of research evidence that will support and enhance student learning. You will support ongoing curriculum design, act as a Personal Academic Tutor, and supervise research and final stage projects commensurate with your own academic degree qualifications. There will be an expectation you will participate in research activities of the School and Faculty.
