This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative and enthusiastic colleague to join a small but established Alumni Advancement Office. Working alongside the Alumni Advancement Manager you will plan a set of engagement activities to strengthen UEL’s relationship with its graduates. This post will focus heavily on alumni chapters and interest groups with responsibility for promoting the Alumni Advancement Office and its offerings to both current and past students.

You will research and develop innovative ideas and working practices to improve the services we offer to our Alumni as well as working on some of the teams existing schemes, including but not limited to the Alumni Ambassador scheme and the 3rd year talks series. You will also work closely with the existing Alumni Advancement Officer on networking, social and school alumni events and communications.

Educated to degree level in a relevant subject area and/or equivalent demonstrable experience of working in an events role you will have excellent organisational and communication skills with an ability to be flexible and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.

You will represent the Alumni Advancement Office both internally and externally, with some international travel and deputise for the Alumni Advancement Manager on occasion.

A successful external candidate for this position would be employed by UEL Professional Services Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of UEL. Employees of UEL Professional Services Ltd work alongside UEL colleagues in delivery of UEL’s mission, and UEL Professional Services Ltd will adopt UEL HR policies and procedures in full.
