Overview

The University of Worcester is seeking a lecturer/senior lecturer to join its newly established School of Law. We aim to ensure that our law students are offered an outstanding student experience, and the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a commitment to ensuring that s/he is able to contribute to this aspiration in a very practical, flexible and energetic way.

The successful applicant will form part of a small, enthusiastic and motivated team delivering the LLB Programmes at the School of Law. S/he will be required to teach Land Law and Equity & Trusts, to contribute to the teaching of Professional Legal Skills & Ethics and to offer a specialism in another area. S/he will be required to fully engage with and develop the law employability programme, and for this aspect of the role, experience of legal practice would be helpful. S/he will also be expected to fully engage with admissions and outreach activities, which will involve evening and weekend working from time to time. You will also be expected to engage in research and scholarly activity.
