Audit Project Manager (Clinical)

The salary will be paid at Grade 6, £32,958 - £39,324 or grade 7 £40,583 - £48,327 per annum, plus £2,923 per annum London Allowance.

This post will be a fixed term contract until 30th June 2018.

This is a full-time post (100% full time equivalent).

We have an exciting vacancy for an Audit Project Manager (Clinical) to work on two key projects - the national clinical audit of specialist rehabilitation following major Injury (NCASRI), and analysis of cost efficiency of specialist rehabilitation in Multiple Sclerosis. The post holder will play a lead role in administrative project management and analysis to ensure timely delivery of the two projects.

We are seeking a candidate who possesses the skills to manage these research and national clinical audit projects. The work will enable the delivery of high quality comparative data on service provision and outcomes across different specialist rehabilitation providers. This will drive improved and equitable access to specialist rehabilitation services for eligible patients, improving psychical and psychological recovery

The successful candidate will provide administrative project management and will work closely with the audit and research teams to deliver the analysis of data and the final reports and publications

The post is for a competent and experienced individual who also possesses project management and experience in the analysis of large datasets, publication and delivery of high quality reports in a field related to health services research in rehabilitation.

The NCASRI audit will perform linkage between two major national databases - the Trauma Audit and Research Network (TARN) and the UK Rehabilitation Outcomes Collaborative (UKROC). Databases.

Due to the tight timescale of the projects the successful candidate will have a background in either as a researcher in health services research in a field relevant to rehabilitation, or in working in the National Clinical Audit and Patient Outcomes programme (NCAPOP)

The post will be based in the Cicely Saunders Institute at King's College London, but will also work closely with the UKROC team at Northwick Park Hospital in North West London.

The selection process will include an assessment and a panel interview.
