Postdoctoral Research Associate in Cancer Imaging (Biologist)

The salary will be paid at Grade 6, £32,958 to £36,001 per annum, plus £2,623 per annum London Allowance.

This post will be Fixed Term Contract for 20 months

This is a Full-time – 100 % full time equivalent

This position is part of a prestigious Cancer Research UK Multidisciplinary Project Award specifically dedicated to integrate medical imaging into cancer immunotherapy. The post holder will be part of a multi-disciplinary team (cancer biology / immunotherapy / radiochemistry) and develop in vivo traceable immunotherapies including in vitro and in vivo validation of new therapeutic and tracking approaches. The post holder will be designing and performing the required in vivo experiments in close collaboration with another PDRA and perform all relevant research downstream of in vivo experiments. Importantly, it is a requirement of this project that both PDRAs work together in order to reach its milestones and goals as well as collaborate with an existing team of scientists with diverse backgrounds inside and outside the department, in particular with immunologists, cell biologists, radiobiologists, and radiochemists
