Business Administration Apprentice (2 year fixed term)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated person to join our successful Operations team as a Business Administration Apprentice based in the School of Health Sciences.

The post incorporates the equivalent of one day per week studying and four days per week of work based in different Divisions of the School across a number of the cities University Campuses. We can be flexible as to how study and working hours are integrated to suit both course and individual requirements 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Divisional Administrator support and liaison.
  • Customer service and support.
  • Completing analysis, reporting, and documentation of School information and data.
  • Administration and management of meetings and events.
  • Knowledge and implementation of  School policies and procedures.
  • Support for School Health and Safety Practices.

Candidates will develop a sound knowledge and understanding of health and safety policies and practices.

Applicants must have, or be predicted to achieve, 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English at grades A-C. Good written and verbal communication skills and accuracy are essential. Applicants must be willing to train in new systems.
