We are looking to appoint a School Marketing and Recruitment Assistant, who will work closely with key internal stakeholders in specific Schools and in the Marketing and Communications department, to support the implementation of School-specific marketing plans and discreet projects to support the delivery of University and School objectives.

Under the direction of the Head of Schools’ Marketing and School Marketing Executives, the post-holder will contribute to the implementation of marketing and student recruitment activities, will be expected to represent Schools at internal and external events and work closely with other members of the University marketing, recruitment, digital, communications and events teams.

Person Specification

It is expected that the candidate has a customer-focused attitude and experience of working in a customer-facing environment. The post holder should also be confident to work independently, participating in recruitment events, with evening and weekend work also occasionally required.

This is a varied role with the following main responsibilities:

  • Supporting the implementation of School-specific marketing plans.
  • Supporting the development of School-specific content and collateral.
  • Supporting the delivery of recruitment events.
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Support digital campaigns and social media activities.
  • Maintaining databases and gathering data for reporting on effectiveness of activity.
