Lecturer in Mathematics

The School of Mathematics and Statistics seeks to appoint an early-career academic in any field of mathematics to join its successful research-active programme.

Candidates should have a PhD in mathematics and a strongly developing research record. Some university-level teaching experience is essential along with a willingness to engage students and encourage active learning.

The appointee will be expected to undertake undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the School, to develop their research programme in keeping with the School’s emphasis on high-quality scholarship and to contribute to the School’s external engagement.
