Food Hertfordshire is responsible for providing a comprehensive catering service to University staff, students and visitors through the various catering outlets on campus and also providing a hospitality service for events on and off campus.

Qualifications required for this post are: 

  • Basic Numeracy and Literacy – NVQ Level 3-4 Catering Service is desirable,
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate – Level 3 or higher Food Hygiene certificate is desirable,
  • Working knowledge or e-mail, Excel and Word,
  • Over 12 months experience of managing a diverse team providing a catering service,

The position includes the use of a company vehicle to transport goods and material between campuses and for events off campus. Therefore a full UK driving licence is required.
