Executive Director, MSGE

Royal College of Physicians

The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) has an exciting opportunity for a senior individual to lead the Membership, Support and Global Engagement (MSGE) Department and contribute to the delivery and achievement of the College’s ambitious strategy.

The Executive Director for MSGE works closely with the CEO and other senior officers/executive directors to deliver the programme of work under RCP’s five theme strategy.

The MSGE department has a strong profile and brand both nationally and internationally, with over 33,000 members and fellows. We want our members to feel valued, supported and motivated by the RCP and for them to develop a lifelong relationship with us.

This is a key appointment in continuing to build on this existing expertise, with new emphasis on increasing the RCP’s UK Regional and international reach.

The importance of modernity, accessibility and relevance to our membership is essential in continuing to have the strong, evidence informed contribution necessary for influencing other professional bodies, the government and policy makers in the midst of challenging times for the NHS.

The post is based at the Royal College of Physicians. The post holder will:
