We have an exciting opportunity to work as a PGR Programmes Administrator within the College of Engineering, Design and Physical Sciences.

The purpose of the role is to support of the work of the Postgraduate Research Programmes office in providing administrative support to staff and research students across the five departments within the College.

The work involves dealing with a wide range of administrative and operational processes including admissions, induction, co-ordination of research degree examination arrangements, monitoring of student engagement points, tier 4 compliance records as well as supporting student and staff events.

The candidate will need to demonstrate excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills along with excellent IT skills. They should be able to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a higher education institution, an understanding of student record systems and customer service principles. Whilst a degree and higher education experience are desirable, experienced applications from other backgrounds will also be welcome.
