Learning and Information Services are seeking to recruit an Audio Visual (AV) Assistant to work within the AV Services Team. This role supports the provision and use of AV equipment for teaching and learning. Duties will include helping academic staff with AV equipment issues, photography, filming and editing, and maintenance of the digital signage system.

The department promotes a strong customer services ethos and staff are required to deliver excellent service when supporting user requests.

You will be educated to A Level standard or equivalent including a formal qualification in a media specialism. You will have practical experience of working with AV and IT equipment, including DSLR cameras, and providing advice and support to users. In addition, you will possess excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate patience and understanding when showing non-technical users how to operate technical equipment.
