The post holder will take full administrative responsibility for the arrangements around the taught postgraduate assessments as well as ensuring that all areas of LSE Law are operating within the current regulations and using best practice. S/he will act as the main point of contact for students and staff with queries on assessment and regulations, review current processes to identify efficiencies and act as a key interface between LSE Law and the central services on related activities. 

You must have very strong IT skills (particularly in relation to MS Excel) and exceptional attention to detail. A proven ability to plan, prioritise and manage a demanding and varied workload, and meet concurrent deadlines is also required. Complete discretion when handling confidential material or managing sensitive situations is essential.

Experience of working in an academic or similar environment in an administrative capacity will be an advantage. However, more important is demonstrable experience of having worked in busy and demanding environments whilst maintaining professionalism, accuracy and a creative approach to problem solving. A ‘can do’ attitude along with empathy and understanding of both student issues and School regulations will lead to success in this role.
