Market Insight Manager

University of the West of England, Bristol - Strategic Communications & Engagement

At UWE Bristol, one of the UK’s largest universities, we’re building a brand new strategic communications and engagement department.

Our new department is different from the norm. It is agile. Creative. Responsive. Innovative.

Think of it as our very own boutique agency; and we are looking for people to help shape its future.

As a confident, experienced Market Insight Manager and excellent communicator, you’ll be the University’s lead market insight expert, providing professional advice and resource across the University. You will play a key role in helping to inform, drive and shape strategic decisions, working closely with colleagues in the department and across the University.

You will design and manage projects which provide actionable market, competitor and customer insight, informing key decisions from marketing and recruitment strategy through to portfolio development.

Passionate about market research, with experience of quantitative and qualitative research design, you will have interviewing and moderation skills as well as experience of managing insight agencies. Experienced at translating business questions into innovative research solutions, you know how to extract, analyse and interpret complex data to produce engaging, dynamic reports.

You have exceptional stakeholder management skills and a proven track record of presenting findings and influencing decision-making to ensure insight is embedded across the organisation.

If you are looking for your next insight challenge, this role offers the opportunity to make an impact within a complex and rapidly changing sector, in an innovative new department.

For an informal discussion about the role please contact Emma O'Connell on 0117 32 82224 or email: Emma.Oconnell@uwe.ac.uk
