Salary: Grade 6

£25,728 - £29,799 per annum.

Potential to progress to £32,548 per annum through sustained exceptional contribution.

Partnerships & Global Opportunities within Global Engagement manages the two main exchanges schemes the Study Abroad Programme and Erasmus+, as well as summer schools across the University. The team provides advice and guidance on international educational opportunities to academic and professional services staff, and develops and supports institutional agreements with peer institutions worldwide.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, talented and proactive individual, who is able to manage student exchanges and summer schools within Europe and who will provide advice and guidance to both students (incoming and outgoing) and staff about the schemes.

The post holder will coordinate the Erasmus+ programme and European summer schools across the University, ensuring that exchanges systems comply with the European Commission requirements, and are able to report accurately on our institutional involvement.

The successful candidate will be able to work with minimal supervision and manage a wide range of different activities and processes and have experience of working with a diverse range of people in a similar international environment. Ideally the successful candidate will have knowledge of working with the Erasmus+ programme, meeting the demands of a varied workload and conflicting deadlines.

This position provides an excellent opportunity to work in a very busy environment. The post holder will be reporting to the Partnerships & Global Opportunities Officer and will line manage the Global Opportunities Assistant.
