These two, full time posts are available immediately, one on a 12 month fixed term basis and one is permanent.

The University of Exeter has grown its research activity significantly over the last few years and, since joining the Russell Group of research-intensive universities in 2012, has made a step change in its research income and earnings performance, research quality, numbers of research students and knowledge transfer activities. The Research Services Directorate is a key enabler to the delivery of the University’s Research and Impact Strategy, a successful next REF submission and meeting research income targets.

The two roles are within the Research Development and Management pillar situated in the Health Cluster with a focus on supporting academics within our medical school, psychology and sports and health sciences department. The post holder will provide research development and management support and advice to academics across the research project lifecycle from idea to impact, supporting and co-ordinating the research proposal development of complex projects. The post is also expected to co-ordinate research specialist support from other RS Clusters and other professional services (IIB, GED etc.) as appropriate.

The starting salary will be from £34,520 up to £41,212 on Grade F, depending on qualifications and experience.
