The University Foundation Programme - UFP

We are a Sixth-Form College located in the City of London, specialising in the University Foundation Programme (UFP). This course is an alternative to A-Levels and accredited by major universities. We have been offering this programme since 1989 and are one of the leading providers.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working Mathematics Teacher for a September 2017 start. The role is part-time, with a minimum of 6-12 hours per week.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering Mathematics lessons with a focus on Statistics at the equivalent of A-Level
  • Marking homework and providing student feedback
  • Creating and marking examinations

Skills and attributes:

  • High level of spoken and written English
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good interpersonal skills

Essential

  • First Degree in relevant discipline

Desirable

  • Teaching experience
