Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (non-clinical) in Lymphoma

Lecturer salary: Grade 7, £41,212 to £49,149 per annum, plus £2,923 per annum London Allowance.

Senior Lecturer salary: Grade 8, £50,618 to £58,655 per annum, plus £2,923 per annum London Allowance.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Lymphoma Genetics to strategically develop a new research area that strengthens and complements lymphoma discovery and translation within the School of Cancer Sciences, King’s Health Partners (KHP), King’s College London. The successful potholder will develop and lead an internationally competitive translational lymphoma research portfolio and group, which complements existing strengths within the Lymphoma Programme and School. In addition, the postholder will contribute to teaching on our undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes. Candidates will ideally have core interests and a track record in the field of the molecular genetics/molecular characterisation of lymphoma (for example: genome or transcriptional analysis such as single cell RNA Sequencing or studying epigenetic, proteomic, phosphoproteome or metabolomic alterations in the lymphomas. Experience in big data analysis (bioinformatics) and management will be advantageous. The role will be designed to allow close collaboration with all members of the Lymphoma Programme across KHP (clinicians, scientists, biobank teams and health professionals) to understand disease pathobiology, tumour microenvironment interactions, immunobiology, intratumoural heterogeneity and identify targets for new treatments (discovery and translation). In addition, there will be opportunity to interact and developcross-disciplinary projects with colleagues across the School of Cancer Sciences, KHP and the College.

The selection process will include a presentation and a panel interview.
