Staffordshire University is a leading university for the delivery of the Paramedic Science award. The Centre of Excellence at Stafford has dedicated paramedic skills laboratories, a fully functional ambulance and superb student facilities to enhance the commitment to academic excellence and the facilitation of student learning. 

Staffordshire University is currently seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to join the established teaching team in supporting and facilitating learners through their study to become registered paramedics. The role will involve preparation and delivery of teaching on various aspects of paramedic science within the undergraduate paramedic programme.

The position is based at The Centre of Excellence, Blackheath Lane Campus, Stafford although some travel to Stoke Campus and practice placement areas will be expected on occasions.

The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent knowledge and skill in paramedic practice, will work well within a team and will possess excellent communication skills. Familiarity with the paramedic undergraduate programme would be beneficial and formal teaching experience is preferred but is not essential, although applicants who do not hold a teaching qualification would be expected to work towards one.

Applicants must hold a relevant professional qualification or undergraduate degree and registration with the HCPC is essential. The successful candidate should be of Doctoral level or equal standing, e.g. practice experience.
