The University of Bedfordshire Business School is seeking to appoint a new Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Project Management, due to rapid growth in this established subject area. We are seeking to provide an innovative and exciting learning experience for our growing number of students in this increasingly popular field of study, building on our established strengths in teaching, enterprise and research to meet the needs of our high profile partners on our new Associate Project Manager Higher Apprenticeships.

Department of Strategy and Management

Within the Business School, the Department of Strategy and Management reflects the School's established strengths in business management, strategic management, purchasing, supply chain and logistics, business systems and project management. New developments in sustainable management, healthcare management, oil and gas management and  gamification together with Higher and Degree apprenticeships have presented an opportunity to reposition the Department to meet the needs of graduates and employers both locally and regionally, as well as overseas where we deliver a number of courses with partner institutions. Our research is world leading in fields such as big data, systems, supply chain management, logistics, business start-up and entrepreneurship. We continue to improve our league table position against our benchmark competitors and are proud of our visible impact on local and regional communities, of our advanced and innovative project management portfolio and of our staff who are committed to delivering research informed teaching aimed at producing job ready graduates.

We are seeking an inspirational academic to take our project management portfolio to the next level. You will develop and teach on a range of specialist and collaborative project management courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level across our distributed campuses in Luton, Bedford, Milton Keynes and Central London and will work with colleagues both within and outside the Business School on our growing portfolio of teaching, enterprise and research activities. Applications are especially welcome from individuals with experience of higher and degree apprenticeship delivery, partnership working and international curriculum design.

With a PhD or equivalent experience in an appropriate subject area. Working with a team within the Department, your specialist knowledge and expertise will drive curriculum change and enhance our engagement with the project management discipline and with businesses at local, regional and international level.
