Senior Postgraduate (MSc) Administrator

The Department of Aeronautics seeks to appoint a committed and highly motivated administrator to manage the MSc programmes. You will work closely with the Programme Directors and the undergraduate administrative team in order to ensure the effective and efficient management and delivery of these programmes.

We are looking for candidates who are highly competent and are able to take initiative, to multi-task and to work to deadlines in a busy office environment. You will need to be educated to degree level with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You should also have proven IT skills and the flexibility to respond effectively to changing demands and priorities. Experience of providing a customer focused enquiry service and committee servicing is also essential.

Applicants will be highly organised with proven experience of office management. They will be effective communicators, have good attention to detail and be skilled at building strong working relationships with a wide range of people at different levels. Experience of managing events would be useful, as would experience of managing recruitment exercises.

This is a varied role and the post holder will need to respond effectively to opportunities and challenges as they arise. This is an excellent development opportunity for a candidate keen to further their career in a fast-developing area of Imperial College.
