Institute Administrator

University College London - Department of Clinical Epidemiology

Applications are invited for an Institute Administrator at the Institute of Health Informatics.

The Institute Administrator is a key member of the Institute’s professional services and operational team, with responsibility for supporting the Institute Manager in the daily operation of the Institute, particularly in Finance, Research, Human Resources, Estates management and Safety within IHI.

The position is available until 28 February 2018 in the first instance with the possibility to extend subject to further grant funding.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in research grant administration, have an understanding of grant application processes and the ability to support the delivery of successful grant applications, be able to work independently, and demonstrate initiative and sound judgement with a proactive and flexible attitude. S/he will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to prioritise varied and demanding workloads.

This position may also be considered as a secondment opportunity to UCL employees only. Internal applicants should discussed the possibility of a secondment with line manager before you apply.
