Possessing extensive knowledge of current research within the fields of quantum optics and quantum information you will pursue a world-class research programme that is relevant to the Quantum Theory Group and the International Max Planck Partnership (IMPP), and will contribute to the development and enhancement of the research profile of the School.

You will teach physics (and possibly astronomy) at all undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and be responsible for supervision of postgraduate research students and postdoctoral researchers as well as carry out administrative tasks assigned by the Head of School and/or Research Group Leader.
