The salary will be paid at Grade 6, £33,518 to £34,520 per annum, plus £2,923 per annum London Allowance.

This post will be fixed term until 30September 2020

The postholder will participate in the cardiovascular research project in line with the objectives defined in the project description and with the overall objectives of the cardiovascular proteomics research group headed by British Heart Foundation Prof. Manuel Mayr. We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated researcher with a biomedical background who will pursue collaborative research with the members of the proteomics unit; providing predominantly expertise in molecular biology techniques, knowledge of cardiovascular diseases is desirable but not essential. The cardiovascular proteomics research group has the latest mass spectrometry equipment at its disposal (www.cardiovascularproteomics.eu). The project will take advantage of proteomics approaches in combination with in vivo models and miRNA measurements in clinical samples to investigate the pathogenesis of cardiovascular disease.
