University of Oxford - Estates Services, Facilities Management

Facilities Management provides reception services to a number of buildings across the University Estate that are managed by Estates Services FM team. This post will be based in Manor Road Building, Manor Road, with working hours being 9.00 – 5.30, Tuesday to Thursday. This is the equivalent of 24 hours per week, with a 30 minute lunch break per day. There will also be the opportunity for the successful candidate to work additional hours on the adjacent site, on an ad hoc basis.

The post holder will be expected to provide reception services, including meeting and greeting all staff and visitors to the building, organising incoming and outgoing mail, dealing with enquiries and problems as they arise, and any other tasks related to the efficient management of the reception area and wider building. The successful candidate will be a polite, friendly, efficient and presentable individual who enjoys interacting with people. Good communication skills and telephone manner together with good timekeeping, flexibility and reliability are essential.
