The School of History, Classics and Archaeology seeks to appoint a Research Assistant who will assist in the design and creation of a database on environmental change in Prehistoric Shetland.  This project has been awarded funding from the University Challenge Investment Fund.

Candidates will have an undergraduate degree in Archaeology, Geography or a related subject and a background on paleoenvironmental reconstruction techniques.

Applications from current PhD students are welcome and should be made in line with University recommendations that PhD students work no more than 6 hours a week.
