Job Purpose

The Senior HR Adviser is a member of the professional staff team within the College of Science & Engineering and will support the Head of College HR in the provision of a comprehensive HR service to the CoSE Client Group through the application of professional expertise and judgement, as well as giving direction to a small team of HR professionals. Key to the Senior HR Adviser’s role as a business partner is the development and maintenance of effective relationships and services across the College, and with Corporate HR, the wider HR and University community. 

Standard Terms & Conditions

Salary will be on the Management, Professional and Administrative Grade, level 8, £42,418 - £49,149 per annum.

New entrants to the University will be required to serve a probationary period of 6 months.

The successful applicant will be eligible to join the Universities’ Superannuation Scheme. Further information regarding the scheme is available from the Superannuation Officer, who is also prepared to advise on questions relating to the transfer of Superannuation benefits.
