This is an opportunity for a highly-applied health services researcher to make a practical contribution to the evaluation of the transformational Walton NHS Neuro Vanguard project, which has been developed to improve the health of the population of Cheshire and Merseyside. You will become a member of a multidisciplinary research team working in close collaboration with commissioners and providers on this ambitious programme of work to research and evaluate new models of neurological care.  This evaluation is being conducted as part of the NIHR CLAHRC North West Coast portfolio of research. 

You should have a PhD in Organisational Change Management, Programme Management or Applied Health Services Research or equivalent experience of conducting high quality academic research in a relevant area of applied health services research or service transformation, health and social care research. You must have a proven ability to engage and manage a wide range of stakeholder groups, including working with the public, as well as project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.  Experience of conducting research in the field of redesign of health services and systems is desirable.  The post is available until 31 March 2018.
