Administrator

University of Leeds - Wellbeing, Safety & Health (inc Occ Health)

Location: Leeds - Main Campus

Faculty/Service: Corporate Services

Category: Clerical Support

Working Time: 4 days per week which must include Thursday and Friday

Post Type: Part Time

This role is not available to current University of Leeds employees or students.

Ethical framework guidelines advise that current students and staff should not be able to apply on the basis of the difficult challenge this poses for the Service in ensuring confidentiality. Whilst we cannot guarantee that a member of staff using the Occupational Health Service may be known to an existing member of staff, redeployee or student, ethical principles which include ‘ non maleficence’ – avoiding harm to clients and ‘respect’ – respecting the clients privacy need to be considered. Making the significant decision to ‘knowingly’ place staff at risk of being known can jeopardise client confidentiality.

Are you an enthusiastic Administrator with excellent administrative and organisational skills? Do you want to play an active role in the efficient delivery of the Occupational Health Service?

We are seeking a proactive Administrator to provide high quality administrative support to the Occupational Health Service (OHS). You will be skilled at managing a busy workload, including database management, diary management, preparation of reports and website maintenance and development. You will have excellent organisational skills with experience of organising and administering meetings, training and events.

The Occupational Health Service works in partnership with the University to promote health and manage risk together. The service delivers a robust safety and health management system to the University across many areas of expertise including, Occupational Health, Staff Counselling and Psychological Support, Health and Safety, Fire Safety and Radiation Protection.
