Student Services Senior Administrator

The University has transformed the delivery of student administration and support with four new teams working from our newly refurbished Service Centres and dedicated spaces across our UK campuses. An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in these newly formed Student Services teams. Applications are invited for the role of Student Services Senior Administrator in within Student Services (Delivery). The role offered will be based in the School of Chemistry where the role holder will provide high quality administrative support to administrative and academic colleagues to deliver the Faculty’s academic provision and will ensure the successful delivery of a number of services associated with the student journey.

Working in a busy, dynamic environment, the successful candidate will be highly enthusiastic and self-motivated. The role demands a consistently high degree of personal responsibility and the ability to respond independently to resolve unforeseen problems and circumstances. They will have an excellent eye for detail and will be experienced in delivering a high quality service in all aspects of the role. The successful candidate will have the ability to manage their own workload and that of the team with the capacity to monitor standards and service quality and with discretion to react appropriately to changing priorities of the team. The successful candidate will be able to develop a network of contacts to support the priorities of the Student Services.

Hours of work for post are 36.25 per week, normally 8.45 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday inclusive (with a one hour lunch break). Given the nature of the role, there are times when annual leave may be restricted and/or with prior notice, additional working may be required.
