Academic Officer

Northern Consortium UK

Can you succeed in a busy administrative role in a global academic organisation?

NCUK is seeking an Academic Officer to play a key role in delivering our business internationally.  Your excellent administrative skills, interpersonal skills and attention to detail will make you ideally suited to supporting our students’ journey from their registration onto an NCUK programme, to its completion.

Working with staff in our global network of delivery centres and a team of academic consultants, you will support the registration of our students, the production of our academic assessments and programme syllabuses, as well as playing a role in supporting NCUK’s rigorous academic quality processes.

Our ideal candidate will have a degree (or equivalent experience or study), be an effective teamworker and a capable administrator with a great eye for detail.  You will be hardworking and keen to make a significant contribution through your work.

NCUK are unique in higher education.  We are a consortium of leading UK universities dedicated to giving international students guaranteed access to universities worldwide and helping them succeed when they get there.  Our qualifications are recognised by our own universities and by universities internationally, and, far more than other qualifications, they prepare students to hit the ground running.

We’ve helped tens of thousands of international students gain guaranteed access to leading universities, choosing from thousands of different courses, and earning good undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in a huge range of subjects.

We offer a friendly and energetic working environment, excellent benefits and a commitment to training and developing our staff.  This role will be based in our Head Office in central Manchester, and may involve some domestic and international travel.
