Fixed Term 3 years (with possibility of extension)

An exciting opportunity has arisen at St George’s, University of London for a senior scientist to deliver translational research in diagnostics for infectious diseases. We are looking for an experienced epidemiologist with a background in public health and academia, with experience of project management and of working with industry.

Based in the Applied Diagnostic Research and Evaluation Unit (ADREU) at SGUL, the postholder will oversee the translational science and applied epidemiology programme, provide scientific input to obtain funding through research and commercial routes, working closely with Public Health England, clinicians, social scientists, laboratory scientists, other academics and industry.
