The US-UK Fulbright Commission is now accepting applications for the 2018-19 Fulbright PhD Award at Brown University

One award will be offered to a qualified British graduate student to pursue a PhD at Brown University in any academic discipline. This Award covers up to five years of PhD study.

Located in historic Providence, Rhode Island, Brown University is the seventh-oldest college in the USA.Brown University's Graduate School offers 51 doctoral programmes, including those of the School of Engineering and the School of Public Health.

The Fulbright PhD Award at Brown University offers the following benefits:

Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be a UK citizen and hold or expect to obtain a minimum 2:1 honours undergraduate degree or the equivalent prior to their anticipated enrolment with a US university. Those who hold US citizenship may not apply for a UK Postgraduate Award from the US-UK Fulbright Commission.
