HR Partner – Employee Relations & Employment Policy

University HR Services works with business and HR colleagues across the University to deliver professional expertise, projects, policies and processes that support the achievement of the University's strategic goals.  Applying the principles of Simplification, Facilitation and Anticipation to all that we do, we aim to work in partnership with the business to: facilitate growth, change and innovation; contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive culture; support managers to carry out their management roles effectively and deliver enhanced organisational performance.

Working in partnership with business facing HR colleagues and the University’s trade unions, you will review, write, and communicate the University’s employment policies and toolkits which support their application.

With excellent communication and policy writing skills, informed by an in-depth knowledge of employment law and experience of supporting managers through HR casework, you will facilitate the development of policies which embed best practice, meet the varying needs of the University and support our vision to be a great place to work.

Your initiative, drive and ability to plan and manage multiple and competing priorities will ensure you meet policy implementation deadlines and using a collegiate approach, you will maintain effective working relationships.

Interviews are expected to be held in week commencing 9th October 2017.
