Student Education Service Assistant

Working for the Environment team, based initially in the School of Geography, you will act as a point of contact for queries from students, staff and other visitors to the School Education Service Office. You will provide administrative support for the annual assessment cycle for Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate Taught students (PGT). You will support E-submission, involving processing assessments (submitted electronically) to and from academic markers. You will assist in the preparations and running of the assessment boards. You will support and update assessments databases across the three schools within the Faculty.

With experience of working in an administrative role, you will have excellent communication skills and the enthusiasm to deliver an exceptional student experience. You will be well organised, with excellent attention to detail and a flexible approach to work. You will be able to multi-task and move between tasks within the Schools at short notice to meet deadlines.

You will work collaboratively with team members within the Student Education Service, other Schools and Faculties and Central Services toshare good practice and encourage knowledge exchange between colleagues to facilitate continuous improvement.
