Research Associate in Cognitive Neuroscience

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral cognitive neuroscience research position to work in the Memory Laboratory at the Department of Psychology, University of Cambridge ( investigating the subjective experience of remembering in health and disease. 

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in psychology, neuroscience, or related disciplines, and a strong interest in long-term memory processes, demonstrated by first-authored peer-reviewed publications.  Research in the laboratory uses a number of methods, including behavioural studies, functional neuroimaging (fMRI), electrophysiology (EEG/MEG), and brain stimulation (TMS/tDCS).  Previous experience with at least one of these methods (preferably a combination) as well as computer programming skills (Matlab or Python) are necessary.  Applicants should have excellent organisational skills, be highly motivated, enjoy working in a vibrant collaborative research environment, and be able to communicate effectively, with outstanding writing ability.  Previous supervisory experience with postgraduate students and/or research assistants is desirable.
