Timetabling Support Officer

The Central Timetabling Support Office is responsible for coordinating and supporting the College’s annual timetabling process and ensuring that departmental practices are aligned with College policy and standards. The Office provides user support and training, managing user access to the College timetabling system and related software.  With a strong customer focus, the office also provides a quality assurance service in order to facilitate data transfers and ensure that timetabling data and outputs achieve excellence for the student and staff end-user.

As Timetabling Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing training, support and professional advice in relation to systems, procedures and policy to all stakeholders of timetabling and room booking systems at the College. This role combines a strong emphasis on communication - both written and oral - and customer service with the need to assist in the auditing, maintenance and quality assurance of key datasets. You will be able to understand and to present complex scenarios and work calmly and effectively under pressure.

You will hold a degree or equivalent and be committed to continuing personal development.  You will be able to demonstrate a willingness to embrace new technologies.

The College cannot normally apply for a Certificate of Sponsorship for this post under Tier 2 of the UKVI’s Points Based System. Any candidate, who is considering applying for this position and requires sponsorship, must ensure that they are able to obtain permission to work in the UK through an appropriate immigration route.
