Following a restructure within the Directorate of Student Services, we are seeking an experienced manager to lead the new Counselling and Mental Wellbeing team at Brunel University London.

The overall focus of this role is to manage a team of counsellors and mental health advisors to provide an effective and integrated support service. There is a desire to develop new, innovative and flexible approaches to service delivery and to improve processes and procedures.

The successful applicant should have a Postgraduate Diploma or HE qualification in Counselling/Psychotherapy and will also need to be accredited with a recognised body such as BACP, UKCP or BPS. You will be an experienced manager with evidence of acting as the clinical lead to a team of counsellors. You will have knowledge of the Disabled Students Allowances and Quality Assurance Group guidelines. Substantial experience of working with adults with a range of emotional difficulties and mental health problems is desired.
