Communications and Impact Officer

This is an exciting time to join the Institute for Global Prosperity.

A Communications and Impact officer will be responsible for developing an Engagement and Communications Strategy which will be reviewed annually by the Public Engagement Committee.

A Communications and Impact Officer is required to embed public engagement in every aspect of the RELIEF Centre's work, as well as to devise events, publications and a communication strategy.

She or he will work with the research teams on engaging stakeholders and communities, and will also liaise with UCL Public Engagement and Research Impact and Curation teams.

The postholder will be part of the professional services team who reports to the Institute Manager.

This post is available for 5 years in the first instance.

The postholder should be educated to Undergraduate level. The successful applicant must have excellent organisation, verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills. Desirable experience includes previous writing and copy-editing experience, knowledge of CMS, as well as previous experience in setting up new online projects. The postholder will also undertake any other duties commensurate with the grade, spirit and purpose of the post as requested the Institute Director.
