Collaborations Officer

Imperial College London - Faculty Education Office, Faculty of Medicine

South Kensington Campus

Forming an integral part of the Faculty of Medicine’s Business and Educational Development section within the Faculty Education Office, the Collaboration team is responsible for the delivery of the Faculty’s collaboration activities.

Following a collaboration between Imperial College London and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore, a new medical school (The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine) opened in August 2013 and offers a 5-year undergraduate medical degree programme.

You will have the primary responsibility of supporting the Collaboration Manager in the delivery of Imperial’s obligations towards the new School as well as any new collaborations. Tasks will include managing curriculum documentation, monitoring progress and contributing information about curriculum development to meetings or for inclusion in reports or committee papers as well as more broadly supporting the delivery of project milestones.

This unique role will suit a motivated, proactive and meticulous individual, with previous management experience, excellent oral and written communication and correspondence skills, and a working knowledge of Windows-based software including word processing and spreadsheets. Previous experience in higher education administration is desirable.

You will possess well-developed organisational skills, and strong interpersonal skills. The role will involve liaising and interacting with academic and administrative staff at all levels of seniority, across different departments and cross-culturally with colleagues overseas.

You will be located at the South Kensington campus, but may be required on occasion to travel to other campuses and travel outside the UK may also be required.
