One post-doctoral research associate post is available in the Molecular Nociception Group. This position is funded by The Wellcome Trust and focusses on the role of sensory neurons in pain pathways, in particular transduction pathways for distinct pain sensations. The post holder will initiate, develop, design and be responsible for the delivery of high quality research in field of pain signalling within the current programme in the Centre.

Applicants must have a PhD and previous experience with at least one of the following; cell and molecular  neuroscience,  transgenic mouse production  maintenance and  analysis,  and/or electrophysiological  and imaging studies. At least one of the following; basic skills in cell and molecular  biology, transgenic studies, genetics,  behavioural and electrophysiological assays is also required.
