Head of Communications and Marketing

King's College London - Culture & Engagement Directorate

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Culture & Engagement Directorate of King’s College London as Head of Communications and Marketing.

Working closely with the Assistant Principal (London), the Director of Operations and Planning (Culture & Engagement), and with colleagues in King’s External Relations Directorate, the post holder will lead on internal and external communications for the university’s London priority (one of five in King’s new Vision 2029) and for its cultural strategy, ensuring close alignment to Vision 2029 and Culture & Engagement Directorate plans. 

The post holder also provides strategic communications counsel to the Assistant Principal (London), support for corporate communications and leads on intra-directorate communications. 

The successful candidate will be an experienced communications and/or marketing professional, with a strong track record in planning and delivering successful strategies and campaigns across a range of disciplines. S/he will be able to motivate a team, manage a budget and work successfully with stakeholders across the university and beyond.

The selection process will include competency based questions, a presentation and a panel interview.
