Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Chemical/Bioprocess Engineering (Permanent)

Applications are invited for the permanent post of Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Chemical/Bioprocess Engineering within the UCD School of Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering.

The UCD School of Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering has a long and distinguished track record of achievement. The School delivers an undergraduate programme in Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering (originally established as Chemical Engineering in 1952), accredited by the IChemE, as well as a highly successful taught Master’s programme in Biopharmaceutical Engineering and is host to a vibrant graduate research programme.

The successful candidate will be expected to establish an international reputation in his/her area of research; to contribute to lecturing and project supervision at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and to participate in administration within the School.

Applicants with research interests aligned with the School’s research activities, including, but not limited to Biopharmaceutical Engineering, Energy conversion & Storage Technologies; Materials Design & Interfaces and Process Engineering are invited to apply.  

95 Lecturer/Assistant Professor (above the bar) Salary Scale: €51,807-€79,194 per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
