Research Associate in Health Economics

The Research Associate will provide health economics advice and input to researchers. S/he will contribute, as part of the trial team within the Comprehensive Clinical Trials Unit (CCTU), to trial design, funding applications, protocol development, and data collection and analysis for the health economic components of CCTU trials, and other well designed studies.

The CCTU is seeking to appoint a Research Associate to increase the capacity in this area. The appointee will link to and work with a cohort of health economists across UCL and its partner institutions.

The post is funded for 1 year in the first instance.

The successful applicant must possess a PhD in a subject with a large quantitative component or equivalent research experience as well as experience of conducting successful research related to health care. Experience of conducting economic evaluations of mental health and/or primary care interventions, using trial data and/or decision analytic modelling are desirable.
