The Corporate and External Relations department provides a range of services for staff, students, and external stakeholders. We aim to be a vibrant and well-connected team with space to collaborate within the department and across the University.

The business areas in the department include communications, web and digital, planning, strategy, commercial, events, student accommodation, and much more.

About the role

As an important member of the team, you’ll present a positive and professional image of the department, working to deliver high-quality administration; providing a customer-focused service in a high-performing and collaborative team. You will have the opportunity to make this role your own, and gain experience across our business areas. To succeed, you’ll need to build relationships across the University and with external stakeholders. Through these links, you will support the Director and senior managers in the team to coordinate the successful operation of the department.

About you (requirements)

You should have the confidence to communicate with a wide range of people and be an excellent team player. We expect you to take pride in your attention to detail, and have a commitment to providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be well organised, have experience of financial administration, working on projects, and be confident in their use of technology. You will also have a passion for learning new skills and gaining experience in all areas of the department.
